Olympics - 8th Annual Color Run

Whitesides Elementary School is a public elementary school serving nearly 800 students in grades CD through 5th grade in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Each year, our school community comes together for one of our most anticipated events, the WES Color Run.

The 8th Annual WES Color Run will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026, with fundraising running from Friday, February 20 through Friday, March 6. This fun, high-energy event encourages students to stay active while raising critical funds that directly support our school.
Proceeds earned by the children participating in the Color Run go right back to Whitesides Elementary.

Through these funds, the PTA is able to supplement the school budget by supporting essential
programs and resources, including our STEAM program, computer lab, classroom supplies, and much more.

The Color Run is more than a fundraiser. It is a celebration of school spirit, teamwork, and community support, all working together to enhance the educational experience for every WES student.

Quick Facts:

• The Fundraiser officially starts at 8:00am on February 20th and runs until 8:00pm on Friday, March 6th
• The Color Run is Friday, March 6th during regular school hours
• Fundraising is based on total amount raised, not per lap
• Our goal is for each child to raise a minimum of $150
• Donations - Online credit cards only - NO CASH will be accepted this year.
• Prizes will be awarded based on a total donation by each student
• WES Color Run T-shirts, sunglasses, color changing cups and bandanas will be distributed by Teachers on the day of the race
• All donations are tax deductible
